A80 Football Guide
Read the football markets, event format and settlement rules before using the play service. The examples explain the mechanics and do not predict results.
Three common markets
| Market | How it is settled |
|---|---|
| 1X2 | Home win (1), draw (X) or away win (2). Check whether settlement uses regular time only. |
| Handicap | A goal adjustment is applied to the result. Whole-goal and half-goal lines settle differently. |
| Over/Under | The combined goals are compared with a stated line. Over 2.5 requires at least three goals; Under 2.5 requires two or fewer. |
Handicap examples
| Selection | Winning or push condition |
|---|---|
| Team A −1 | A win by two or more goals wins; a one-goal win is a push under a standard Asian handicap. |
| Team A −1.5 | A must win by two or more goals; there is no push. |
| Team A +1 | A win or draw wins; a one-goal loss is a push under a standard Asian handicap. |
Checks before a match
- Confirm line-ups, injuries and the event start time.
- Read recent results alongside the opponents faced; a short run of form does not predict the next result.
- Check home/away splits, rest days and the competition’s settlement rules.
Reading decimal odds
Stake × decimal odds = total return if successful, including the original stake. A successful 20,000-kyat bet at 2.50 returns 50,000 kyat: 30,000 kyat of net profit. A losing bet can lose the entire stake.
Implied probability = 1 ÷ decimal odds. Odds of 2.50 imply 40% before allowing for the bookmaker’s margin. This is a price-based calculation, not a reliable prediction of the event.
Live markets
Odds and available markets can change during play. Streams can be delayed, and a displayed price may change before a bet is accepted. Check the confirmed bet slip and avoid rushed decisions.
Spending and time limits
Set an amount you can afford to lose and a time limit before playing. Do not use essential or borrowed money, increase stakes to recover losses, or spend more to qualify for an offer. Gambling is for adults aged 21 and over. Contact support about account restrictions or closure if you need a break.
