A80 Cricket Guide
Read the cricket markets, event format and settlement rules before using the play service. The examples explain the mechanics and do not predict results.
Three formats
| Format | Typical duration | What matters |
|---|---|---|
| T20 | Around three hours | Short innings and rapidly changing situations. |
| ODI | One day | Longer innings and limited overs. |
| Test | Up to five days | Multiple innings, changing conditions and the possibility of a draw. |
Main markets
Markets may cover the match winner, innings totals, individual performances or a particular over. Check what period is covered and how ties, no-results or shortened matches are settled.
Pitch and weather
Pitch conditions and weather can change during a match. Confirm the toss, team selection, forecast and any revised target. A delayed broadcast may not show the latest match state.
Reading decimal odds
Stake × decimal odds = total return if successful, including the original stake. A successful 20,000-kyat bet at 2.50 returns 50,000 kyat: 30,000 kyat of net profit. A losing bet can lose the entire stake.
Implied probability = 1 ÷ decimal odds. Odds of 2.50 imply 40% before allowing for the bookmaker’s margin. This is a price-based calculation, not a reliable prediction of the event.
Live markets
Odds and available markets can change during play. Streams can be delayed, and a displayed price may change before a bet is accepted. Check the confirmed bet slip and avoid rushed decisions.
Spending and time limits
Set an amount you can afford to lose and a time limit before playing. Do not use essential or borrowed money, increase stakes to recover losses, or spend more to qualify for an offer. Gambling is for adults aged 21 and over. Contact support about account restrictions or closure if you need a break.
