A80 Esports Guide
Read the esports markets, event format and settlement rules before using the play service. The examples explain the mechanics and do not predict results.
Games and markets
| Game | Typical format | Markets mentioned in the guide |
|---|---|---|
| Dota 2 | MOBA; best-of-three or five | Match winner, map handicap, total maps |
| CS2 | FPS; best-of-one or three | Match winner, map winner, total rounds |
| Mobile Legends | MOBA; best-of-three or five | Match winner, map handicap |
| League of Legends | MOBA; best-of-three or five | Match winner, first blood, total kills |
Map handicaps
In a best-of-three series, a −1.5 map selection normally needs a 2–0 result. Match-winner and map-winner markets refer to different outcomes; read the exact market name.
Checks before a series
- Confirm the roster, tournament format, patch and map rules.
- Check how walkovers, disconnects and abandoned matches are settled.
- Streaming can be delayed relative to the event; displayed odds may already reflect newer information.
Reading decimal odds
Stake × decimal odds = total return if successful, including the original stake. A successful 20,000-kyat bet at 2.50 returns 50,000 kyat: 30,000 kyat of net profit. A losing bet can lose the entire stake.
Implied probability = 1 ÷ decimal odds. Odds of 2.50 imply 40% before allowing for the bookmaker’s margin. This is a price-based calculation, not a reliable prediction of the event.
Live markets
Odds and available markets can change during play. Streams can be delayed, and a displayed price may change before a bet is accepted. Check the confirmed bet slip and avoid rushed decisions.
Spending and time limits
Set an amount you can afford to lose and a time limit before playing. Do not use essential or borrowed money, increase stakes to recover losses, or spend more to qualify for an offer. Gambling is for adults aged 21 and over. Contact support about account restrictions or closure if you need a break.
