A80 Muay Thai Guide
Read the muay thai markets, event format and settlement rules before using the play service. The examples explain the mechanics and do not predict results.
Main markets
| Market | What to check |
|---|---|
| Bout winner | Who wins and how a draw or no contest is settled. |
| Round-related market | The exact round or round handicap described by the operator. |
| Over/Under rounds | The listed round threshold and how a partial round is measured. |
| Method of victory | For example, points or KO/TKO; use the listed definitions. |
Format and judging
Traditional five-round contests and shorter formats can use different scoring conventions. The original guide highlights the role of rounds three and four in traditional bouts; this should not be applied automatically to every promotion. Read the event’s rules.
Checks before a bout
- Confirm the fighters, weight class, number of rounds and event format.
- Read rules for substitutions, draws, disqualifications and no contests.
- Do not assume one visible exchange determines the judges’ final decision.
Reading decimal odds
Stake × decimal odds = total return if successful, including the original stake. A successful 20,000-kyat bet at 2.50 returns 50,000 kyat: 30,000 kyat of net profit. A losing bet can lose the entire stake.
Implied probability = 1 ÷ decimal odds. Odds of 2.50 imply 40% before allowing for the bookmaker’s margin. This is a price-based calculation, not a reliable prediction of the event.
Live markets
Odds and available markets can change during play. Streams can be delayed, and a displayed price may change before a bet is accepted. Check the confirmed bet slip and avoid rushed decisions.
Spending and time limits
Set an amount you can afford to lose and a time limit before playing. Do not use essential or borrowed money, increase stakes to recover losses, or spend more to qualify for an offer. Gambling is for adults aged 21 and over. Contact support about account restrictions or closure if you need a break.
