A80 Tennis Guide
Read the tennis markets, event format and settlement rules before using the play service. The examples explain the mechanics and do not predict results.
Main markets
| Market | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Match winner | The player who wins the match, subject to retirement rules. |
| Set handicap | A set adjustment. A −1.5 set selection needs a two-set margin, such as 2–0, 3–0 or 3–1. |
| Game handicap | An adjustment to the number of games won. Read tie-break treatment. |
| Total games | Whether the combined game count finishes above or below a line. |
Court surface and match format
Hard, clay and grass courts can suit different styles. Read previous results in context and confirm whether the match is best-of-three or best-of-five. Surface alone does not determine the result.
Checks before a match
- Confirm fitness, recent workload and the tournament surface.
- Read retirement, walkover and interrupted-match rules.
- Check whether a deciding match tie-break counts as a set or game for the selected market.
Reading decimal odds
Stake × decimal odds = total return if successful, including the original stake. A successful 20,000-kyat bet at 2.50 returns 50,000 kyat: 30,000 kyat of net profit. A losing bet can lose the entire stake.
Implied probability = 1 ÷ decimal odds. Odds of 2.50 imply 40% before allowing for the bookmaker’s margin. This is a price-based calculation, not a reliable prediction of the event.
Live markets
Odds and available markets can change during play. Streams can be delayed, and a displayed price may change before a bet is accepted. Check the confirmed bet slip and avoid rushed decisions.
Spending and time limits
Set an amount you can afford to lose and a time limit before playing. Do not use essential or borrowed money, increase stakes to recover losses, or spend more to qualify for an offer. Gambling is for adults aged 21 and over. Contact support about account restrictions or closure if you need a break.
